Warmth Is All I Need.

Now that it's all kinds of freezing here in Vancouver, all I want is warmth.
This editorial from Vogue Türkiye features delicious layers, and tons of faux fur.
I used to despise faux fur, but this fall I'm starting to embrace it.
Although I don't think I could ever be draped in the real thing, faux fur seems to cozy up quite nicely.

No Plans In Sight.

I didn't end up going anywhere in this...but I did end wearing a version of it to school. I wish the weather here was better, I miss wearing these shoes!
One thing I do like wearing? My Revlon lipstick! Raspberry Bite has been a mainstay since the day I bought it. Never thought I'd be one for lipstick, but I'm hooked!

Thrifted dress, belt. Bluenotes jacket.
Hot Kiss floral platforms. Sirens patterned tights.

A Vixen of Sorts.

I've been following Caitlin Shearer ever since I stumbled across one of her works on flickr...
What I love the most about her drawings and paintings is that they are of girls who I would very much like to be. Feminine and sweet, without being saccharine, she makes you want to live in the world that she creates.

Check out her blog, flickr, and etsy!

Autumn Leaves.

This amazing wall is not too far from our place, so I was pretty excited when Kate and I stopped one day to take some quick outfit photos, on the way home from the Urban Outfitters 50% Off Clearance sale. The backdrop is gorgeous, but I'm not sure how much longer we'll have the red leaves. It's currently snowing in Vancouver...and winter shall soon be rearing it's ugly head.

Thrifted blouse, skirt, boots, belt. Bluenotes jacket.
Steven Madden socks. Urban Outfitters yarn headband.

It's A Cruel World.

I've already posted about these shoes.
Need more compelling evidence as to their cuteness?
Check out shots from the lookbook...
I feel like cute shoes + really cute girl (Tennesse Thomas) + even cuter kitten = NOT FAIR.
I am helpless.

Don't Get Blown Away.

It was insanely windy that day, so Tim and I braved the outdoors for all of 2 minutes to quickly snap these photos. (Thanks again Tim for braving the cold with me!!!) I wish that I didn't look like I was getting blown away, but I was. Oh well, I'll get better detail shots of these clothes another time.

The pink coat in the last photo is the only evidence that MitziCocoa was at my house in October. We spent too much time catching up, and didn't end up taking photos. Isn't that coat a mohair dream?

Thrifted top, boots. Red Light vintage hair bow.
F21 scarf. Birthday gift from Mitzi skirt. Sirens tights.

All Eyes On...

I've been feeling any kind of buttoned up, lady-like editorials lately.
Give me pussy bows and starched collars, please!
This is one of best I've seen so far, so delightfully directional.
It's from W's November issue!

A Borrowed Backdrop.

Kate and I are sort of in love with our friend Adam's new digs. He lives in a house that is somewhere around 100 years old. The exterior is so cool, and looks especially so at night, when it seems more like a haunted mansion than an actual house. We had a lovely breakfast that morning, but sadly didn't take any photos with our host. Since he only lives 6 blocks away, I'm sure you'll be seeing more of him very soon!

Side note: My theme for this outfit was something along the lines of "Smurfette".
Couldn't help but put Smurf blue with the orange shoes!

Thrifted dress, shirt, belt. Self made velvet bow.
Old Navy stockings. H&M shoes.

You Are So Magnetic.

I don't do that much shopping online, but I do love to check out etsy and ebay for guilt free window shopping. Noir Ohio is one of my favourites! The styling is so cool, I want to look this badass while wearing frilly 80's dresses.

She also has a blog, check it out here.
