When It Rains, It Pours.

It feels like every day I am telling you guys about another feature...
I hope you're not sick of it yet, I know it's still exciting to me!
This time I'm on the ModCloth blog!
The sweetest part is I would most definitely wear all the items picked to "recreate" my look.
Especially that skirt!
Thanks again to ModCloth for contacting me :)

It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood.

This was a gorgeous day for a friend date!
Kate and I went to Granville Island, on one of the last really hot days of summer here in Vancouver.
I got my hair cut and flat ironed that day, isn't it crazy how different it looks?
Sadly, I don't have the patience or time to do it daily. I don't know how some girls do it!

H&M dress. Thrifted sunglasses.
Forever 21 via Buffalo Exchange heels.

Feature Time!

Another lovely feature over at Fashionably Black!
Thanks again for the interview :)

Gone and Done It.

Samantha Pleet continues one of my favourite designers, season after season. With a knack for comfortable and aesthetically pleasing frocks, her pieces are constantly on my fantasy must have list. Spring/Summer 2011 is no different. Featuring a lovely shade of crimson and deliciously sheer insets, swingy skirts, playful shorts, and adorable booties; it`s a delectably composed collection! I can picture every peice in my closet (especially those short sets)!

Happy Birthday, Dear Mitzi! (Part Two)

Cheapy champagne, a gorgeous cake from Cupcakes, and a lovely host (Meggan has the cutest house!). We played card games and listened to records, it was a very lovely evening!

Happy Birthday, Dear Mitzi! (Part One)

I am still very behind in my posts: this one is actually from Mitzi Cocoa's birthday, back at the end of August. I'm splitting it up into a two parter because I took a lot of photos that day!

We went for lunch at the Foundation, which has some of the yummiest vegetarian food I've ever tasted!
Then...outfit time! Mitzi looked amazing (quite the birthday girl) in a frothy pink dress (which I happen to own as well). We both bought the lovely H&M dress on our trip to NYC, where we first met!
It's amazing the kind of friends you meet through blogging.

PS. That silver heart is a heart shaped flask (and Mitzi's bday present).
I had a hard time giving it to her, so cute I wanted to keep it!

Thrifted dress. Red Light hat.
Payless boots. UO tights and trench.

I just want to say a huge thank you to anyone and everyone who reads my little baby of a blog.
I really appreciate every comment, and I love it when you guys decide to stop by!
I'll be doing a giveaway really soon, I figure my 300+ readers deserve it.
Thanks again! You are what keeps me posting, day after day.
I LOVE YOU!

Some Cravings.

The air is getting crisper, and although I favour the warmth of the summer sun, I have to accept that fall is creeping in. With it comes a whole new conundrum: what to wear when it's too cold for bare legs, but too warm for woolen everything.
This is where the internet comes in handy!
Here is my short list of what I am dreaming of for fall...
And yes, I will soon be the proud owner of that white turban :)
I am counting down the days.

Forever 21: Heart Socks

Clever Nettle: Southwestern Printed Jacket

Modcloth: Inviting You To Play Dress

Turning Violet Vintage: Vintage Creme Turban

Something N.E.E.T.

GAH!!! One of my favourite, favourite online publications featured me on their blog today!
I am beyond estatic since N.E.E.T. always features the sweetest vintage sellers, and girls with impossibly cool style. I'm inspired by every issue, so thanks again!
Go here to check it out!!!

Been There, Done That, Messed Around.

Just an average Saturday night house party...
I Rock Band-ed La Roux's "Bulletproof"...needless to say, only she should sing that song.
I got 95% though, by some miracle. Seriously Elly Jackson, how you do it is a thing of wonders.

I finally figured out how to type a scarf into a cute hair bow thing, so don't be surprised if I get all lazy and start wearing them all the time.

Thrifted scarf, shirt, shoes.
Nenee Cupcake skirt, C/O Valerie.

Spiral Potato Please.

We finally have internet in our house, so posting should get back to normal soon!
These are just a couple of pictures from when we "moved in" at the beginning of the month.
Kate, Grace and I went out to the Richmond Night Market and had spiral potatoes, which are essentially fries if fries were a million times better, and on a stick.
Oh, and I saw a really fat pigeon.

Thrifted shirt, boots, belt, jacket. Wet Seal skirt.
