I really can't believe it's been five years since I wrote my first post on Style is Style. It feels like it's about time I gave back to you lovely readers. In Our Fifth Year.

Veils, bows, polka dots and gloves are all things I thoroughly enjoy, and this throwback editorial from the 2010 spring/summer issue of Lula Magazine showcases all of them. Today is Style is Style's 5th birthday, and I'll be hosting a giveaway next week in celebration, including the latest issue of Lula, as well as some other awesome/cute/fun/lovely goodies. Five years really has flown by, who knew I'd still be writing on this blogall these months later? Thanks for your readership, hopefully my corner of the web has provided a little joy to you over the years.

Loly In The Sky.

Although I'm not quite hanging up my layers quite yet, I've been able to bare my gams more than once this month. It's finally looking like Spring here in Vancouver, and warmer weather calls for lighter, easier footwear. I hadn't worn true flats in a couple of years, but when Loly In The Sky offered a couple of pairs of beyond adorable kicks, who was I to say no? A lovely jaunt in the park was had in the Montse flats. They were a perfect fit for kicking back and taking it easy with friends in the park.
