Throwback Thursday: Vroom, Vroom, Vroom, Get Gasoline.

Adam and I went to a car show back when it was cold enough for me to wear a faux fur coat. We had fun sitting in automobiles we cannot afford (shout out to Klout for hooking us up) and pretending to car shop. In other news, I am 100% smitten with these jeans...not sure how but I think I'm a pants person now?

Merrymaking.

We had our annual Friends + Family event at Front & Company a little while back, and it was lovely to get to dress up and see some familiar faces shopping (Adam, Emily) as well as my coworkers looking all snazzy. A very fun night indeed (the snap of lovelies in black are my pals Karen and Sonny).

Back in Time.

I love dates with Adam. I wish I could lie and say that these are newer photos, but I having been going through my my old photos, and there are more than I thought! I figured you wouldn't mind a little blast from the past...

Lamenting.

I am so, so, SO very behind in posts! I try to always post things in chronological order, but since some of the pictures I have are 2-3 months old (eeep!), I'm probably just going to post in whatever order I feel like. This is from Mitzi's visit back in May! I am embarrassed to admit it's taken me this long to post them. I had some fairly life changing events happen in June, so my time out from the blog back then means extra outfit posts NOW! That's good, right?

Moving on...I wish that Mitzi lived closer. She is one of my favorite brainy beauties, and I loathe the fact that she's all the way in Victoria. It's always so wonderful when I see/talk/visit with her! Perhaps one day we'll live in the same city? This post is also featuring an Adam cameo...

The Templeton.

Breakfast at the Templeton with one of my favourite guys.
The Templeton was adorable. Jukeboxes at every table!
Adam is a great friend, always up for anything (we've been known to spend hours shopping, and we always seem to find the best things together!). He just moved into the city, only 5 blocks away from us!
I get the feeling you will be seeing more of him around here.

PS. does anyone have size 8.5 feet? I bought these gorgeous Jeffrey Campbell shoes, but alas, they are half a size too big! I am willing to sell them for $15 + shipping! They are barely worn, and I have lots of pictures.
Just send me an email (it's listed on my blog sidebar) if you interested.

Shake, Shimmy and Shout.

It's been a while since I've done one of these...
I apologize profusely for the chaotic state of life I'm in.
New city, new job and lots of new experiences!
But I am having a lot of fun :)

This outfit post is an oldie, back when my friend Adam had his super sick pompadour.
Circumstances lead to it's demise (sweltering heat) but wasn't it just the most delicious thing you've seen?
I love a good pomp!
A bajillion thanks to Valerie for the lovely Nenee Cupcake skirt she sent in our exchange!
It is my staple "going out" skirt, and I feel amazing everytime I wear it.

PS. The last photo is a "Miss Cleo" type pose, just for all of you ;)

Nenee skirt. H&M top.
Old Navy shoes. Claire's flower.

A Cool Sip.

Just hanging out with Kate and Adam at Starbucks.
These shoes were a gift from ModCloth. While we were in NYC, we were each given a voucher for a Chictopia dress, but unfortunately it didn't come in my size. The ladies at Modcloth were nice enough to allow me to get a pair of shoes instead, and these are the lovely heels I chose! The order came quickly, I would definitely recommend ModCloth if you are look for unique and quirky peices online.

Gift from Adam Gap cardigan. Thrifted dress, sunglasses and belt.
Modcloth All Around The Mulberry Heel. Gift from nenee socks.
