Labour Day.

As long ago as it was...it was beautiful here in Vancouver on Labour Day. A rare day with no school and no work! I was able to spend it with my beautiful younger sis, Grace. We hopped around our favorite downtown haunts, and of course took some outfit pictures.

Blogger Date.

I love hanging out with Zoë! Yesterday we ate at Lucy's, roamed Main street and mused about blogging and life. Our day consisted of mowing down on really delicious food, checking out lovely vintage and singing along to BSB (okay, that last part was just me...) It's a pretty wonderful thing that something like blogging led me to meet a new friend, especially one who I've hit it off so well with. I tend to find that hanging with fellow bloggers, I get so busy chatting I forget to properly document. I apologize for the lack of photos, it just means we were having a good time! Can't wait to see her again, and so stoked that we live in the same city!!! Here's to friendship & happy times!

Lamenting.

I am so, so, SO very behind in posts! I try to always post things in chronological order, but since some of the pictures I have are 2-3 months old (eeep!), I'm probably just going to post in whatever order I feel like. This is from Mitzi's visit back in May! I am embarrassed to admit it's taken me this long to post them. I had some fairly life changing events happen in June, so my time out from the blog back then means extra outfit posts NOW! That's good, right?

Moving on...I wish that Mitzi lived closer. She is one of my favorite brainy beauties, and I loathe the fact that she's all the way in Victoria. It's always so wonderful when I see/talk/visit with her! Perhaps one day we'll live in the same city? This post is also featuring an Adam cameo...

Staycation.

I'm technically on a mini-vacation with Kate, starting today. It'll only be until Friday afternoon, but after the stressfulness of this past semester, I really need a break!

I think I'm going to alter this dress (don't like how loose the chest is), but haven't quite gotten around to it yet. This outfit was worn way back when, at the beginning of summer. Kate and I spent the afternoon walking around Commercial Drive, and discovered some vintage shops that are pretty close to home. As for the messy hair on my part, blame the Vancouver breeze, it's always constant!

Two Of Us.

It never ceases to amaze me how, even though we live and work together, I always have the best times with Kate. A day spent button shopping and mall hopping proved to be filled with hilarity and silly poses. At the risk of being a total sap, I feel blessed to have such a lovely lady to call my bestie!
