100% Real Love.

I love every piece of the continuing collaboration at Urban Outfitters, Fletcher by Lyell. These pretty pictures are from the UO Blog.

It's A Scene You Set For New Lovers.

I am very much in love with these two images. This is what I want my spring to look/feel like.
Those orange wedges from UO will be mine! I diligently wait for them to go on sale.
Also, all I've been listening to nonstop this weekend is Lykke Li's new album. She can do no wrong in my books.

Not So Out Of Reach.

One of my favourite things about living in the city is I am near Urban Outfitters!
They usually have a really great section... and I've been stocking up on markdowns.
This romper was only 10 dollars!
Don't mind the band aid on my knee, I hurt myself at work.
It was a fairly deep cut (I'm fine though), and I will be annoyed with the scar it leaves.
Oh well, there isn't much I can do now I guess, ha!

Pins and Needles romper. Thrifted cardigan, blouse, shoes, belt.
Hue tights. Dollar Store socks.

In The Midst Of It All.

A lot of vintage style has been seeping into the mainstream, fast fashion type chains.
I've kind of had mixed feelings about the whole thing, because really, who wants to pay $60 for a blouse that looks (and was probably copied from) an authentic 1970's top that you could find buried in a thrift store for $2? But on the flipside, it's quite nice to have those types of garments more readily available...

On that note, Urban Outfitters has been posting some very, very inspiring shoots on their site lately.
They've been leaning in a vintage-y, school girl prep direction of late, but the way everything is styled makes it feel less like a "look" made for a mannequin and more like something that could have been tossed on and just happened to work perfectly!
Delicious sweater girl looks, madcap grandma layers are exactly what I want to be wearing right now.
Oh, and I plan to DIY this baby. want/need more floral fascinators...

How I Love A Good Sale...

This trench was only $10, down from $88 at Urban Outfitters! They had a 50% off women's clearance sale about a month ago and I scored this Urban Renewal jacket which is perfect for crisp fall/early winter weather.

Keep your eyes peeled for the "Pocket Change" line of hair accessories for whistle. This one of a kind headband (and many more) will be available for between $4-$10.

Thrifted boots, cardigan. Self made circle scarf as skirt. Handmade Pocket Change headband.
Old Navy tee. Urban Renewal jacket. American Eagle necklace.

Steven Alan.

Every dress this man makes in perfection: preppy, nautical inspired simplicity. Basically, the ultimate spring/summer wear. But at between $120-$265, I wish I could afford them...

For those of you who want a more budget friendly version of this clothes, he's done a collaboration with UO.

Sunny Thoughts.

I'm in full spring mode!
Looking at all the goodies at UO, I'm getting inspired.
Now remembering how I love sweetheart necklines... and
how sick are the polka dot Cheap Mondays?
I can't wait for all the D.I.Ys this summer, keep your eyes peeled!

P.S. Now that I'm done classes, there will be a long overdue
whistle. update coming very soon (before Sunday)!
Expect spring prints & fresh denim :)
