ASOS Denim Hub!

It's positively spring-like here in Vancouver, and I've found myself a new textile obsession. I cannot get enough of jeans!!! Durable, easy to care for and better with age, there is just something about the sweet blues. Indigo hues get me singin’ like nothing else! Broken down and worn in or crisp and deeply dyed, I'm fascinated with both the versatility and accessibility of denim.
Given this current love of all things jean, I was ecstatic when ASOS approached me about their brand new "Denim Hub". When The Cold Winds Blows.

Sometimes a lookbook will completely captivate me; ASOS fall 2014 had me wanting to fill my cart with midi skirts, minimal athletic inspired jackets and sumptuous knits. The styling is impeccable: my favourite pieces are the "A" bomber jacket and that fuzzy fur scarf. Since I've been having more modern sartorial leanings of recent, this serves as a touch point for lookin' on trend without being a fashion victim. Well played ASOS!

Style is Style loves ASOS!

If you follow me on Pinterest, it's no secret that I love perusing online retailers to see what's new and now. ASOS is one the shops I visit the most, so I was over the moon when they got in touch to try a piece from the Curve collection. For someone who size-wise is an "in-betweeny" (somewhere between straight and plus sizing), ASOS is a must. With an expansive selection of fashion forward ensembles for both ends of the size spectrum, it's easy to find exactly what your looking for and then some!

Because the temperatures are slowly rising around these parts, I chose a sweet tropical swing dress and delicously obnoxious sunglasses to try out. I ended up wearing the dress on a day that was mostly food hopping, and it was nice to have the loose fit without compromising my cool.
