Summer In The City.

One of the privileges of living in a city like Vancouver is that gorgeous scenery is essentially endless, especially when the weather is good. I'm making an effort to go to parks and the beach this summer, since it's the first summer I've had here where I have actual leisure time.

Zoë and I escaped to Queen Elizabeth Park and spent the afternoon talking about life's unknowns, and how they can be both daunting and a little exciting, too. Spending time with like minded ladies makes me feel more at ease about not knowing everything...

The Best Times.

I always am guaranteed to have a great day when I hang out with Zoë. We had delicious brunch at Slickity Jim's, where the conversation ranged from pants vs. no pants to activism and social change. That's one thing I love about Zoë, we have the ability to go from completely frivolous to more intellectual and meaningful topics with ease. That and she is super fun to be around.

We finally got joint outfit photos (!!!!), much to the disdain of a girl riding her tricycle in the park. She didn't look too impressed. Also, we kind of coordinate! Blog dates=awesome mates. Ha, ha, I'm a cornball. As proven by my cheesy faces in these photos.
