Mechanics of Man.

Back in March, I got to visit the Vancouver Art Gallery (which I had never been too) for free!
It was during the Paralympics so admission was paid for :)
It was really cool, there was an exhibit features Leonardo da Vinci sketches of human anatomy, on lend from the Queen. I am both baffled and amazed at his ability to draw with such attention to detail, on pieces of paper smaller than your average 8.5' by 11'! A very painstaking task, but it turned out so beautifully.
There were so many inspiring works of art, but my favourite had to be by Wangechi Mutu.
She has amazing collages with glitter and pages from anatomy books and magazines which
bring forth quite an arresting message.
Needless to say, Grace and I had an amazing day!

p.s. Sorry about making sound like I went to Coachella in the last post, I most definitely didn't!
The pictures are from R29! Also, Ssorry for sorry for sporadic outfit posts. I wish I could say they will become more frequent, but since I am currently working 2 jobs, I'm not sure I can keep that promise. I have at least 4 or 5 more coming up, so please keep checking here for updates!

H&M dress. Suzy Shier jacket.
Thrifted belt. Joe tights. Old Navy wedges.
Deena and Ozzy hat.
