Despite my love of subtropic, balmy weather, I actually find getting dressed in the summertime the most difficult. With the aim being keeping cool, it can be tricky to find minimal layers that still look good. I inherited this vintage silk skirt from Kate and it has been a godsend! Breezy, sweet and fairly neutral, it's what I would call a true summer basic. If only I had 5 carbon copies!
