Hello, It's Me Again.

Yes, I know, I'm like a ghost blogger these days, I yet again apologize profusely.
I hope that everyone's holidays were/are splendid,
mine have been excellent, very busy and are still going...
I will be back in full force in the New Year, I promise. Please bear with me until then.
I'm planning a giveaway, a big shop update, lots and lots of pictures and an exciting review of Shoes Got Sole, which carries a myriad of shoes and boots, including Dingo and Aerosoles.
In short, I'm very excited for everything coming up soon!
Thanks again for checking out this blog, even though posting has been rather sketchy lately.

Happy New Year! See you in 2010 :)

Ahoy!

Nautical themes always come back in the spring,
and I always fall head over heels again for anything striped, crisp and preppy.
Current/Elliot's SS10 lookbook proves looking ship shape is too cute to pass up!

Last Minute Christmas Gifts.

Kennedy Holmes has one of the best Etsy stores, hands down.
Who wouldn't love to find this and this under the tree?

Merry Christmas again, readers! I appreciate all of you :D

Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays to everyone!
Hope you are with the ones you love,
or that you at least love the ones you're with.

Stunner.

Everyone and their dog loves model extraordinaire, Lara Stone, myself included. She's captivating and diverse in a way that hasn't been seen in recent years since the popularization of interchangable, Eastern European wunder-models. But her individuality, including her size, hasn't always been means for celebration. Check out this enlightening article on vogue.com in which, Lara opens up about the inner lives of models.

Ruby Ruby Ruby.

Soft ruffles, high waists, layers of lace, muted tones, overalls.
All a little overgrown Lolita, which I am totally digging in the Ruby SS2010 collection.
Dreamy perfection, I say.

Dear Mr. Santa Claus...

A mash up of some of the lovely things I am dreaming of this christmas.

bow lace up heels from uo, mod dress from anthropologie,
royal blue dress from loeffler randall, creme studded boots by free people, sequin skirt from quail, fleece cape from lover, the last metro band jacket from persephone vintage, the party dress from duskin, shoulder chain capelet by gemma degara, husband coat by rachel comey, june frill skirt by luella, the most amazing glitter jacket by phillip lim, velvet dot skirt by charles anastase, creme lo top converse by comme des garcons, pleated shorts by opening ceremony, red book by chloe sevingy at opening ceremony, silence & noise sequin cardigan by urban outfitters.

And Now, For Something Completely Different!

I'm sorry to have disappeared into my own world again, but as usual I've been attempting to at least take outfit photos which inevitably will be on this blog, sometime soon-ish.
I'm also (FINALLY) doing a giveaway come the new year as a thank you to my 100+ followers!
So don't fret, I'll be back soon with bigger and better things...

Every year, two of my best friends and I put on our Christmas Sweaters (which we decorated ourselves) and head to the mall to take a picture with Santa. The first year, we smiled normally and the second, we made over eager, toothy smiles. This year...we did a look called "bright eyes".
Enjoy!

Ectasy.

I Want It All.

Reminding me that I still need to find an military coat, this is precisely what I had in mind for cold weather dressing this year, plus a cozy scarf of course.

Sweater Weather.

The warmth of my breath leaves its mark on the air
As the cold nips my cheeks.
Crisp and fresh tasting, this is the winter I know.
