I'm alive, I promise!
I've got a lot going on...and some exciting news in the next couple of weeks.
Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

P.S. Has anyone been to an American Apparel Rummage Sale? We're going next weekend and I want to know what to expect...

I Could Die.

Seriously, I think this scarf would make my winter...wait, maybe even my life!
AMAZING. The perfect touch to any ol' boring everyday outfit.

Can I Be Minnie Mouse?

I was Minnie for Halloween year before last, but maybe I should start taking inspiration from Minnie year round? This editorial from Vogue Germany has got me thinking I need a big black bow and some mouse ears, pronto!

Pink and Cream Pipe Dreams.

Ever drawn to flowers, tulle and generally girlyness, Rachel Antonoff's SS '10 collection pretty much captures every frilly fantasy that exists in my dream closet. Perfection!

The Youth Are Starting to Change.

When I first found out The Stylish Wanderer was all of about 15 years old, I was floored. How could a high schooler be so insanely inspiring and individual? Possessing a bohemian, laid back style, I'm certain that she should be the poster girl for American Apparel. Mostly because she wears it in an entirely fresh and unpretentious way that many a hipster could benefit from. And she's got a love for hats, especially the big, floppy, Blossom type varieties. I can't wait to see what she does next, and where the fashion world will undoubtly take her.

R.I.P.

A great light of the modeling world has gone out.
Daul Kim, an amazing up and coming model died by suicide this morning.
It's a sad, sad day.

The Aforementioned...

As I mentioned before, I won LNA leggings from Chickdowntown via Kennedy's lovely blog
(thank you yet again, Kennedy and Chickdowntown!) Their first outing was about 3 weeks ago to watch Where The Wild Things Are (which may very well be the perfect movie). The best part of the leggings has to be the zipper detail. It's an impeccable touch, making them far more interesting than run-of-the-mill ubiquitous legwear. This dress was from a garage sale, at which I got it with two skirts for $5, and which I altered. It used to be a longer waisted, 80's style wrap dress, now it's a one shouldered wonder. I do love my D.I.Y.'s!

Thrifted jacket, belt and heels. Garage Sale dress.
LNA leggings.
